This week was a busy one behind the scenes. I handled most of the interviews for the open Paper & Stitch roles, celebrated Jeff’s birthday with cookie cake and a much-needed nap (we try to keep it a little fancy), and checked off one major—and exciting—item from my to-do list that I’ll be sharing soon.
At this point, I’m ready for nap number two and a few DIY projects to fill the weekend. How about you?
Here are six DIY ideas to try this weekend:
- Mini blueberry pies — a small, delicious treat to bake and share.
- Minimal DIY desk idea — a clean, simple build for a focused workspace.
- Dip-dyed woven baskets — a quick 10-minute project that updates storage with a fun gradient effect.
- Pastel sand art hair — a playful, temporary color technique for a soft, colorful look.
- Rainbow crepes with key lime whipped cream — a vibrant stack of crepes paired with a tangy, light whipped cream.
- Taro and black sesame ice cream — unique, creamy flavors to make at home for something different.
Wishing you a creative and relaxing weekend.
