This kids’ purse idea is genuinely simple and ideal for carrying small toys, craft supplies, or whatever children like to tote around. The best part: it’s a no-sew project that kids can complete almost entirely on their own. Younger children may need a little adult supervision for the cutting step, but older kids can manage the whole process start to finish.

All you need is an old pair of pants or shorts with pockets—denim works great, but any sturdy fabric with pockets will do. You can also adapt this pouch into a fanny pack by using a longer strap.
