This post is brought to you by GOJO, the makers of PURELL® Multi-Surface Disinfectant.
Lately I’ve been experimenting with morning smoothies and finally landed on a few fall-inspired combinations that I love. My only gripe? The clean-up. Does anyone else end up covering every surface in the kitchen while making a smoothie, or is it just me?
To make kitchen clean-up easier, I teamed up with PURELL® to try their new Multi-Surface Disinfectant spray. It’s become my go-to for wiping counters, tables and other surfaces after smoothie prep — and while I was at it, I’m sharing three layered chia-seed smoothie recipes for a flavorful morning boost.

3 Chia Seed Smoothie Recipes
I usually eyeball smoothie ingredients because smoothies don’t have to be exact. Below I’ve estimated measurements so you can recreate these at home. Each recipe yields one serving.
Blueberry Smoothie: Stir 1 tablespoon chia seeds into 1/3 cup coconut milk. Cover and refrigerate for 10–20 minutes until the chia thickens. Once ready, combine 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries, 1 ripe banana (quartered), and 1 cup apple juice in a blender with a few ice cubes if you like it colder. Blend until smooth. Layer the blueberry smoothie and the chia mixture in a glass for a pretty layered effect, or stir everything together if you prefer. Garnish with fresh blueberries and enjoy.
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie: Mix 1 tablespoon chia seeds with 1/3 cup coconut milk, cover and chill 10–20 minutes. In a blender, combine 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 2 ripe bananas (quartered), a splash of vanilla extract, a pinch of cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice to taste, and 3/4 cup vanilla almond milk. Add ice if desired and blend until smooth. Layer with the chia mixture or mix all together. Finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
Pomegranate Smoothie: Combine 1 tablespoon chia seeds with 1/3 cup coconut milk, cover and chill 10–20 minutes. In a blender, add 1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice, 2 ripe bananas (quartered), and 1/2 cup apple juice. Add 1/2 cup ice or a scoop of yogurt if you prefer a creamier texture, then blend until smooth. Layer with the chia mixture or combine everything. Top with fresh pomegranate seeds for color and texture.

Making smoothies often means chopping fruit, scooping puree and handling multiple bowls and utensils — and that can get messy. I’ve been using PURELL® Multi-Surface Disinfectant to quickly wipe down counters, cutting boards and other surfaces. It kills 99.99% of viruses and bacteria in 30 seconds and is labeled safe for use on food-contact surfaces, so it’s convenient and worry-free around kids, pets and food prep areas.
For me, having one multi-purpose product to sanitize and clean eliminates clutter in a small apartment and makes morning routines faster — especially when I’m rushing out the door to the studio.

Which of these smoothies would you try first? Pumpkin pie, blueberry, or pomegranate?
