These days, the faster I can finish my morning routine and head out the door, the better. Maybe you feel the same.
If so, this quick hair hack and tutorial could be perfect for you. Read on for a simple method to create beachy waves in 10 minutes or less—choose larger sections for looser waves or smaller sections for tighter waves.

Instructions
This technique works on freshly washed hair or on day-old hair when you want a quick refresh. Lightly mist your hair with a strong-hold hairspray. Divide your hair into sections and braid each section. For loose, beachy waves, braid larger sections; for more defined, smaller waves, braid smaller sections similar to the photos.
Next, take a flat iron and run it along each braid several times on a standard heat setting. Keep the iron moving—don’t clamp it down in one spot. Glide from the top of the braid to the ends a couple of times (about 2–3 passes per braid). After you’ve flat-ironed all the braids, start unbraiding beginning with the first braid you ironed so the most recently ironed braids have a chance to cool. Finish by running your fingers through your hair to loosen the waves and apply additional hairspray if you want extra hold.
Simple and fast, right?
