After the success of last month’s style guide, I wanted to share this month’s inspiration boards as well. If you’d like me to keep posting these, tell me — a lot of you said you enjoyed them, so I’ll keep them coming if you want.
This month I’m still embracing summer vibes while slowly making room for the coming fall. You’ll notice a handful of autumnal images woven into the mood board alongside sun-soaked, warm-weather pieces. It’s a small nod to the changing season without letting go of summer just yet.
About the ribbon (because I know someone will ask)…
In real life I swear more than I do here. It’s a habit—one I’m not ashamed of—and most people who know me don’t mind. Online, though, I’m more cautious. Tone and intent are easy to misread in text; it’s different when I’m face-to-face and smiling while saying how much I “love the hell out of my animals.”
So yes, that ribbon was made for me. It fits.
This month’s palette leans toward pastels with pops of bolder hues. The googly eyes are included for fun—a reminder not to take myself too seriously. They add a playful touch that keeps the board lighthearted.
I also used a few of my own photos from recent trips. Travel has become increasingly important to me, and those images are there to capture the feeling of being on the road—whether I’m exploring another country or visiting a nearby city outside Atlanta. Side note: I’m leaving for Grenada in two weeks and could not be more excited. Umbrella drinks, here I come.
