After a snowy trip to New York City this week, I am more than ready for spring and summer to arrive. To bring a little sunshine into my day, I created a tropical-inspired cocktail with beachy vibes: pineapple lime sangria spritzers. Light, refreshing, and balanced between sweet and tart, these spritzers are perfect for warm afternoons—whether you’re lounging outside or pretending it’s beach weather while bundled up in a winter coat.
I developed this recipe in partnership with Seven Daughters. It’s easy to make, ideal for sharing, and can be dressed up with extra fruit and edible flowers for a pretty presentation. The bright lime adds zesty freshness while pineapple brings smooth sweetness—together they pair beautifully with a semi-sweet Moscato or a crisper white wine, depending on how sweet you prefer your drink.

Ingredients (serves 6–8)
- 1 bottle (750 mL) Seven Daughters Moscato
- 1 whole pineapple (organic recommended)
- 3/4 cup pineapple juice
- 2 cups lemon-lime soda
- 3 fresh limes (organic recommended)
Note: I recommend organic pineapple and limes since some of the peel remains on fruit used in the pitcher.
Instructions
1. Core the pineapple and slice it in half. Cut one half into 1/4-inch slices and reserve the other half in larger slices for garnish. Slice two of the limes into thin rounds. Add the pineapple pieces and lime slices to a large pitcher.
2. Pour in the pineapple juice, add the bottle of Seven Daughters Moscato, and squeeze in the juice of the remaining lime. Stir gently and chill the mixture for 2–4 hours so the flavors meld.
3. To serve, fill glasses with ice, ladle in the sangria mixture, and top each glass with a splash of lemon-lime soda. Garnish with extra pineapple and lime slices and, if you like, edible flowers for a festive touch.
If you prefer a less sweet drink, substitute the Seven Daughters Moscato with a Crisp White Winemaker’s Blend for a drier, more citrus-forward profile.

Do you enjoy sangria spritzers like this? And more importantly, are you as ready for spring and summer as I am?
