I have a soft spot for gift wrapping. I care about what’s inside the package, of course, but there’s something irresistibly fun about wrapping paper and presentation. I’m always tempted to design my own wrapping collection, which explains why I keep collecting pretty papers and materials.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, it’s a great moment to try a simple, fast DIY wrapping idea for your presents. This project takes about five minutes and needs only a few basic supplies—so it’s perfect for last-minute touches or making multiple packages look cohesive.

The technique is incredibly straightforward: press stickers onto pastel or colored wrapping paper in any pattern you like, then wrap your gift as usual. Because the method is so simple, there aren’t step-by-step photos here, but below I list the types of stickers I used so you can recreate a similar look.

I used holographic circle stickers, small peachy-pink dot stickers, and tiny silver star stickers. These kinds of stickers are widely available—bulk packs from online retailers or common office supply stores work well. The small round dots and holographic shapes add subtle texture and shine, while the silver stars give a playful, festive touch.

Apply the stickers in a random, scattered arrangement for a casual, modern feel, or place them in an orderly pattern if you prefer a cleaner look. Once the stickers are in place, wrap your package with the decorated paper. To finish, I sometimes add painted wooden heart accents and colorful twine, but the stickered paper looks charming on its own as well.
