Yesterday I shared a few DIY ideas that transition from party décor to home accents, and today I’m showing how those projects came together at the event. Below are photos from the party, a few extra DIY touches, and details on food, drinks, and favors. I’m excited to share it all—let’s jump in.
This celebration was created in partnership with V8 and their delicious lines of V8 Veggie Blends and V8 +Energy. I wanted a fruit-and-vegetable–focused gathering that highlights the wholesome ingredients found in V8 products—carrots, beets, apples, mangoes, grapes, and more—so the menu and styling emphasized fresh produce.
After finishing the DIY pieces I mentioned earlier, I concentrated on a bold statement for the table: an edible table runner. This living centerpiece stretched the length of the table and included a floral bouquet in the middle. Scroll through the photos to see how the event came together, what we served, and what guests took home.

The edible table runner became the heart of the party. Since V8 champions bringing vegetables into everyday life, the runner was stacked with fresh, ready-to-eat produce. I sliced some fruits ahead of time so guests could simply reach out, pluck a piece, and enjoy it from their seats. It was an interactive, playful element that set the tone for the event.
When the party ended, guests grabbed a leather-and-rose-gold DIY basket and helped dismantle the runner, taking home leftover fruits and vegetables along with V8 +Energy drinks. This made clean-up easy while making sure everyone left with a useful favor and fresh produce—a win-win.

Flower power played a big role. I built a lively centerpiece with olive branches, coral peonies, anemones, ranunculus, scabiosa, chamomile, and poppy pods. The assortment added texture, color, and a cheerful scent to the table.
Textiles also contributed to the relaxed, summery vibe. I dyed the table linens with turmeric, a natural spice that produces warm, earthy tones. The result felt handmade and cohesive with the produce-forward theme.

For food and drinks, I kept things simple, healthy, and tasty. I prepared individual servings of overnight oats and served breakfast tacos, and we stocked several flavors of V8 Veggie Blends. Of the seven available flavors, guests especially loved Carrot Mango, Healthy Greens, Purple Power, and Red Radiance.
To keep beverages cold, we used a modern planter filled with ice as a stylish makeshift cooler. It kept drinks chilled while contributing to the party’s aesthetic.
Of course, brunch calls for cocktails. We mixed easy V8 +Energy vodka cocktails—one part vodka to two parts V8 +Energy—using any flavor you prefer; pomegranate-blueberry is a particularly good choice. V8 +Energy blends green tea and vegetable juices and is lower in sugar than many other mixers, so the cocktails felt lighter and refreshing.

No party is complete without a photo booth backdrop. Ours was crafted from lengths of cotton piping, creating a woven backdrop that’s fun for photos and doubles as wall art after the event. It’s a great way to add visual interest and a memorable photo moment for guests.
